One event may involve several procedures
Damage to a property, loss of a home and forced displacement have different RD4U categories. Ukraine’s eRecovery programme and applications to the European Court of Human Rights also serve distinct purposes. Prepare without unnecessary risk
Start with what you already have. Keep original records, mark uncertain dates and distinguish what you witnessed from what others reported. Do not travel somewhere unsafe to obtain a photograph. “Where to get legal assistance” lists assistance channels for questions about a particular procedure.
Research and cooperation
The papers in “Research on access to redress” examine access to evidence, minimising personal data and the interaction between procedures. Each paper explains its sources and conclusions. Organisations working on these issues can find cooperation proposals on the “Cooperation with the Foundation: guidance and research” page.
This section addresses individuals’ personal losses. Business and corporate claims are a separate area and are outside its scope.

Damaged or destroyed housing: an A3.1 claim to RD4U
